§ 72-1. Adoption of standards; purpose; conflicting provisions.

All premises within the Village of Williamsville, whether improved, unimproved or vacant, shall be maintained in conformity with the provisions of this chapter and the Property Maintenance Code of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code so as to assure the proper character of the property, to maintain proper values and to promote the health, safety and general welfare of the public. Whenever the requirements of this chapter are at variance with other applicable laws, regulations or private agreements, the most restrictive or higher standard shall govern.
